Dear Friends,
Do join the dharna organised by PUDR at Jantar Mantar on March 16, 2009 from 5-7pm in solidarity with the friends who are courting arrest to press our demand for release of Dr. Binayak Sen. Twenty two months have passed since he was arrested and charged in a false case. His health has deteriorated but the court has remained indifferent. Let us utilise this opportuity to reiterate our demand for repeal of Unlawful Activities Prevention Act which proscibes political ideologies and criminalises normal, routine and legitimate activities.
While PUDR has taken this initiative we request all groups to come join this dharna. If anyone wishes to bring the banner, placards or sing a song/ to say something they should do so.
